Rocky is a friend that I have known for a few years.  He is visiting Medford for the next couple of weeks so he can gets his endorsements for truck driving.  He has worked for the airline for several years and is a volunteer firefighter down in California.

So, it feels real now.  Uncle Bobby is really gone, I'm going to miss those kisses on the cheek telling me that I am his darling, miss the way he pesters the kids and all of his stories and jokes!

My cousins are in town for my Uncle's memorial tomorrow.  As a young kid one of my favorite memories of my cousin Danny was of course his PeeWee Herman voice!  He is the BEST at doing that voice!   I can HONESTLY say that I DO NOT have a favorite cousin!!  They are all wonderful!!

      We have been having some really nice weather!  I mean warm and SUNNY!  I got the chance to meet my neighbor Felix for the first time while he was outside doing some yard work!

I believe that this is true about Amy!  She is the only woman that works down at Rent- a-Center.  Every time you walk into the store the guys have their mouths moving a mile a minute!!  

Amy is always polite and helps with any question you may have concerning stuff in the store or where it can be found.

This is Nick!  He is the manager at Rent-a-Center, he is VERY computer savvy! Nick is always polite, no matter who walks into the store.  He always greet you with a smile and a wave "Hi Tina, how are you today!?"  he will actually listen to your answer, he isn't just asking to be polite!  Weird, I know!

This is Steve!  Besides being a family friend he is one of the district managers at the Mail Tribune.

He is fun to talk to especially after he gets a phone call from a customer!!  He gets so irritated with them!  My parents deliver close to 700 newspaper.  They can not please all of the customers by delivering the newspaper at 3 in the morning!   Steve always has my parents backs when it comes to how they deliver the newspapers!

Way to go, Steve!!

January 21, 2014 - Aunt Betty

Alright, I am confessing that I didn't take this picture.  However, under the circumstances I had to post this on my blog.

I received the news this morning that my Aunt Betty passed away late last night.  So, I won't ever be able to take another picture of her.   My heart is breaking, more for my mom then for me.  Don't misunderstand I love my Aunt Betty very much, but being one of the youngest nieces I wasn't around when all of the older cousins lived close and were growing up together.  Now we all live away from each other.   So, anyways my mom is taking this really really hard.  She explains that the way she is feeling is like losing my Uncle Wayne all over again.  When my Uncle Wayne and Aunt Betty got married my mom was just a little girl.  There is no in-law where it concerns the 2 women.

You will be GREATLY missed, I am sure Uncle Wayne was waiting with open arms!  Love You!
